The Lifestyle

This is the base camp for the adventure called Colorado.
Salida is a world renowned center of art and outdoor recreation and is home to several arts festivals like the Salida Artwalk. The old Salida Steamplant now plays host to a theatre series and a full line up of concerts with national acts routinely making appearances. Salida has been recognized nationally as a burgeoning arts scene.  Please click here to view the Denver Post's recent Business Section cover article about 'Salida's Renaissance'.

Located in the Upper Arkansas River Valley, Salida is considered the "Heart of the Rockies" with 15 peaks over 14,000 feet in elevation. The Arkansas River is a gem with its gold medal fishing water and the most popular whitewater rafting in the country.

Centered in the middle of Colorado Ski Country, great skiing is right out your back door. Home & Garden Television recently profiled the best places to live in the U.S. From the Atlantic to the Pacific, HGTV and Outside Magazine ranked Salida as one of the top ten places to live in the entire country.  US News & World Report also recently listed Salida as one of the best, still affordable places to live in  the US.

Salida

Salida is located in South Central Colorado and is considered the "Heart of the Rockies", situated between the 14,000-foot Sawatch Range, and the Magestic Sangre De Cristo Range. The Arkansas River provides year-round gold medal fishing, and is a great river for 'mild' to 'wild' river rafting and kyaking. Trailside Estates is perfectly situated for all of the recreational opportunities that the Colorado Mountains have to offer.

The turn of the century neighborhoods throughout Salida have long been admired for their strong character, quality architecture, and rich streetscapes. The homes in Trailside Estates will continue this tradition.

Salida has been recognized nationally as a burgeoning arts scene. Just a few minutes in transit on the Salida Trail will bring you to historic downtown Salida to enjoy dining and a night out. Since Salida is only 2.5 hours from major metropolitan cities like Denver and Colorado Springs, the conveniences of the city are not far away.

In the late 19th century, Salida was a major hub for railroad activity. Lines ran north, south, east, and west with freight destined for new mining camps.

Today, Salida is a world renowned center for art and outdoor recreation and was recently named one of the top ten places to live in the entire country by Home & Garden Television.

Special financing with great interest rates has been arranged. Contact us today to find out how to get your piece of colorado mountain land.
